Jam Results & Golf Power Balancing


Hello World!

Well folx, the jam is over and the results are in. We are #4434 out of 7,639 applicants. Not gonna lie, I was hoping to reach top 50%, but we're still fairly close to that point. All things considered, our game truly became a lot better after the jam due to the eyes on it, and we spread awareness about the project, so I'll chill and just do better next time.


Golf Improvements!

In brighter news, I am pushing version 1.2.0 out today. This version includes a completely reworked power system that should feel a lot more natural and remove a lot of issues with too much power at times. I'm calling this a 1.2.0 as opposed to a 1.1.1, as I feel like balance updates break any chance of comparing with previous scores. In addition, I've removed the weird and arbitrary deviation to the right that I added because we are a left handed chicken, it only caused confusion.


Next Update

We're still going to be working on Golf with the next update, as I'm looking into making a more informative Out of Bounds system, rock and water hazards, and a tracing system to keep track of long shots. These should come out in the next few days, along with a couple more courses. After I get golf nailed down, I'll move on to cleaning up the Maze and then Escape the Coop. I want to get all of these cleaned up and ready to promote on other channels.
